Visit
Historic Old Fort Parker
The Old Fort Parker Patriots is a SASS affiliated
club that shoots the
3RD Full Weekend of each
month.
The range is located
at Old Fort Parker, the former home-stead of the pioneer
Parker Family and Cynthia Ann Parker, between Groesbeck
and Mexia, Texas.
WINTER
HOURS registration begins about 9:00
inside the community center, safety meeting about 9:50 on the firing
line and SHOOTING STARTS at 10:00. We shoot
a six-stage match each day, and
are usually finished around 1:00 or so. After the shoot, most folks retire to
the community center to eat lunch while the shoot results
are read and awards are handed out.
